Seeking Discomfort.

Around October of 2018, I stumbled upon a group of YouTubers called Yes Theory. They are a group of friends that met by complete chance and random circumstances, but bonded instantly over a passion for spontaneity and adventure. Their mantra in life is to seek discomfort:

Seek Discomfort

Verb

\ ˈsēk  \ dis·com·fort | \ dis-ˈkəm(p)-fərt  \

1.     the idea that the best experiences in life occur when a person pushes their limits and/or leaves their comfort zone.

Ever since then, I have been hooked. I see life differently, in that, I want to live rather than exist. I don’t want to let my discomforts prevent me from living a full life. I aspire to find ways to go after what I want, no matter the risks, and find joy in all the things that I do.

The following are my experiences of seeking discomfort which show how pushing the limits of my comfort zone, gave me the best and most fulfilling experiences of my life.

Enjoy.
